New Distinguished Fellowship Announced for Art & Social Justice

Hambidge is pleased to announce a new Distinguished Fellowship for Spring 2025. The Rich Distinguished Fellowship for Art & Social Justice is open to creative individuals and thinkers whose work tackles social justice. This Fellowship is also open to collaborations and expands the bounds of visual art disciplines. We look forward to welcoming creative leaders whose work aims to make a difference in the world we live in. Our Distinguished Fellowships are merit-based awards, removing the fees for a two-week residency and providing a $700 stipend.

Distinguished Fellowships offer individuals and organizations the opportunity to directly support artists and their creative process. Support can be directed within a particular creative discipline, geographic area, demographic, etc. Sponsors commemorate someone special or support a passion through a one-time gift, annual gift or endowing a lasting gift.

If you’re interested in funding a Distinguished Fellowship, you can donate online, or contact Kathryn Derryberry at 770-851-5631 or kderryberry@hambidge.org.
