Cross-Pollination Art Lab - 2020-2024

Cross-Pollination Art Lab

The Hambidge Cross-Pollination Art Lab in Atlanta began as an initiative to bring together visual artists, dancers, writers, poets, and musicians to share ideas and experiment. In 2020, we began with 2 sets of 4 separate but connected spaces totaling 20,300 square feet that served as multidisciplinary studio spaces, exhibition and performance spaces. In 2021, we provided 8 rent-free studios for 4 months to 8 individuals, collaborators, and collectives (a total of 16 artists) in a variety of disciplines.

After the initial Cross-Pollination Studio Project came to a close, renovation on the original spaces began and our donated gallery and studio space moved to 2640 Lindbergh Ln NE, Atlanta, GA 30324, across from the MARTA station. There, we maintained a gallery space into 2022, and a studio space into 2024.
