“My experience was beyond amazing. First off, I have had trouble attending residencies because of my disability. From what I can tell, most residencies are not set up to accommodate differently abled people and residencies that I have been accepted to have had to push back my stay to first make the spaces more accommodating, which has been a somewhat soul-crushing experience that has left me feeling both isolated and abandoned. Hambidge went out of their way for me. Brena was spacious and easy to both move around and work. Staff checked on me regularly and made sure I had everything I needed.”
