 “I arrived over-extended with too many ideas, not enough time to test them or to take care of myself, all while grieving for the world on fire. Somewhere between the walking trails, the gift of time and space, and being cooked for,  a part of me was healed. I left feeling cared for and that I was allowed to be fully be myself without expectation, which was noticeably the same as how the Hambidge staff treated the land they are on. The land is flourishing with biodiversity and that same health is reflected in the residency program. Thank you for your caretaking and making this slice of the world such a gift to so many and a source of hope.”
