Night Walk at Hambidge
Experience the magic of Hambidge in the moonlight and listen to the crickets, frogs and cicadas. Hambidge Fellow and Board Member, William Downs, will lead a peaceful walk around the Hambidge grounds while sharing stories, adventures, and meditative moments along the way.
A lack of light pollution is one of the many benefits that Hambidge offers. Darkness and moonlight allow you to experience nature in a whole new way.
We’ll gather at the Weave Shed Gallery between 8:30-8:45pm and set out on our walk around 9pm.
As always, please dress in layers, wearing long pants, a long-sleeved shirt and closed-toe shoes or boots. Bring water, any medicines you might require, including an Epi-pen if you have severe allergic reactions, and a walking stick if needed. For this walk, please bring a flashlight, too!
What about rain? This walk will happen rain or shine (moonshine, that is!). Showers or gentle rain is acceptable, but if the forecast is for heavy rain or thunderstorms, we will cancel.
