Saturday Afternoon Community Workshops are offered FREE to our Rabun County community.
Welcome to the Clay Monster Mug Workshop, where artist Beau Raymond creates handbuilt mugs that are both creepy and cute, resulting in spooktacular creations! Beau expertly utilizes slips, underglazes, and glaze application techniques to bring these monstrous mugs to life. Students will use slab construction and methods of pushing and pulling clay to create one of a kind characters. Get ready to sip from a mug that's both eerie and endearing!
Mugs must be left at Hambidge to dry and be kiln fired. They will be available for pickup approximately six to eight weeks after class.
All levels of experience are welcome.
