Confluence: An Immersion in Embodied Connection

Get to know yourself – and how to connect with others. In this workshop, Andrew & Erin will guide you in creative embodiment practice and authentic human connection. Each day, you will have several periods of facilitated movement practice (dance and yoga), deepening self-awareness, processing emotion, and honing non-verbal expression. In guided relational practices, you will cultivate the skills of presence and creative storytelling to connect with others. Return home with the tools and inspiration to artfully build connection with yourself, others, and nature.

You will be asked to bring:

  • Loose clothing for movement

  • Journal & pen

  • Yoga mat

  • Meditation cushion

  • Water bottle

Andrew Griffes is a leadership coach and facilitator to mission-driven leaders and organizations. He has worked with entrepreneurs, investors, government agencies, and community organizations to create strong relationships and systems to build economic value, community, and reciprocity with the natural world. With a Master's degree in mindfulness-based psychology from Naropa University in Boulder, Andrew's work integrates contemporary understanding of human development with ancient practices of cultivating self-awareness and growth. He lives in Southern California, and facilitates leadership retreats for business and community leaders from around the country.

Erin Rose Ward is an embodiment facilitator, offering various doorways to the room of deepened connection with self and source. For over a decade she has been teaching classes in LA + NYC and leading retreats around the world. Her offerings include dance, yoga, meditation, breathwork, yoga nidra, and The Class. She is known for her unique and poetic style of facilitation and kind open heart. She values authentic expression, compassion, joy, integrity, and community. Her group offerings emphasize both self-care and co-care. In her classes you can expect to energize your body, clarify your mind, and come home to the power you contain.
