Fellows Emma Chammah and Eddie Farr received the Healing Our Highways grant from Smart Growth America (SGA) for their project Traffic Cams, reflecting on the future of public transportation in Atlanta. The project will use traffic cam data to help community members facing transportation challenges envision a more climate-friendly transportation future.
The grant supports creative ideas that build knowledge, connection, and power in disadvantaged communities facing transportation issues and climate change. Last month, the grant recipients began collaborative work preparing for community-focused activities from June to September 2024. Be sure to stay tuned to SGA and our fellows for updates!
