Where:  The Hambidge Center, 105 Hambidge Court, Rabun Gap, GA 30568
Hambidge is located on Betty's Creek Road, 3.5 miles from Highway 441 in Rabun Gap, just outside the town of Dillard Georgia.  Located approximately 1.5 to 2 hours from both  Asheville and Atlanta.

Who:  Hambidge Center for the Creative Arts and Sciences (501(c)3 Non-profit)- Since 1934, talented artists and scientists from across the country have taken up residency at the Hambidge Center to explore, develop and create.   Situated on 600 pristine acres, Hambidge is a creative sanctuary that nurtures artists working in a broad range of disciplines to create works of the highest caliber.


What:  HAMBIDGE HOOTIN-N'ANNY-Annual Summer Festival and Fundraiser to benefit the artist residency program and nature preserve.  This GREEN event showcases smart evolutions in ART, FOOD and MUSIC rooted in good ole’ southern tradition.

Art
- tour of the artist-in-residence studios normally closed to the public, Georgia Pottery Show, U-do-Raku (glaze your own pot to keep), and special art installations and performances by Hambidge Fellows.
 
Food- In the art studios, acclaimed chefs from Atlanta, Rabun, Highlands and Cashiers will serve up culinary delights from Grits and Honey
(produced at Hambidge) and other local organic fare. Tomlins local Bar-B-Q, and grass fed angus beef burgers.
 
Music- foot-stompin music by Art Rosenbaum and Friends, Elise Witt & Micky Kinney, The Old Hippie Band, and Hank Belew & Carmel Ridge.
 
Environment- Green, Eco-conscious event providing rare access to the protected artist sanctuary
(7 miles of hiking trails among clean mountain air, meadows, streams, waterfalls, wildflowers, a swimming hole, log cabin, springhouse, and a water-powered gristmill responsible for grinding the grits & corn meal.)
